Phillips-Medisize, a Molex company, announced today it has been recognized by the City of Eau Claire’s Sustainability Advisory Committee and City Council President for their 2017 Sustainable Eau Claire Award. The awards, in a variety of categories, recognize individuals, businesses, and organizations that are making a difference and creating a more sustainable Eau Claire.
In a ceremony on World Environmental Day, 5 June, Phillips-Medisize was recognised with an award in the category of Clean-up or Beautification. Phillips-Medisize’s application was for its recent projects on a certified wildlife habitat and monarch joint venture.
"We are honored to receive this award. It represents how Phillips-Medisize, and our people, are able to contribute positively to the environment. This is a reflection of the efforts our people put forth every day," commented Matt Jennings, chairman and CEO Phillips-Medisize.
