Pharma Gateway Amsterdam member Nouwens Transport Breda achieves IATA CEIV certification

Nouwens Transport Breda has achieved IATA Center of Excellence for Independent Validators in Pharmaceutical Logistics (CEIV) accreditation.

The Dutch trucking group says that being able to demonstrate a high quality of care in pharmaceutical transport has led to increased volumes in the second half of 2017, and the introduction of four fully CEIV certified vans to its fleet on 1st January 2018.

"This is a valuable addition to our already existing certifications such as Good Distribution Practice (GDP), TAPA-TSR1, and ISO-9001," said Sven Veeke, Business Development & Sales, Nouwens Transport Breda.

"CEIV is the highest attainable international standard for quality in shipping pharmaceutical logistics by air.

"Our customers can count on us to ship their pharma products according to the highest quality standards possible."

The CEIV certificate was awarded in 2017, and shows that Nouwens meets the highest quality requirements regarding shipping pharmaceutical goods through Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.

Nouwens Transport operates a temperature-controlled, fully GDP-certified warehouse at its headquarters in Breda, with storage space for 2000 pallets over 1500 sq ft.
