Mycotrition: Who is behind this?

Extensive experience and the utmost expertise now also specifically for business customers: Mycotrition GmbH based in Straßlach near Munich was founded to offer medicinal mushroom raw materials for further processing in excellent quality and at fair prices. Behind the new company is Hawlik Gesundheitsprodukte GmbH, Europe’s leading medicinal mushroom company. By outsourcing the raw materials field, the medicinal mushroom experts from Straßlach are now able to specialise fully in looking after business customers with a dedicated team in a separate company, and further develop this segment.

More than 30 years of experience with medicinal mushrooms

The new company can rely on extensive experience in production, sales and scientific analysis with regard to medicinal mushrooms. The managing director is Benjamin Hawlik, who has been managing the company his parents founded, Hawlik Gesundheitsprodukte GmbH, as the managing partner since 2006. The company is the European leader with a wide portfolio of high-quality medicinal mushroom products and has devoted itself to particularly strict quality management. More than 1,000t of medicinal mushrooms per year are processed by Hawlik Gesundheitsprodukte GmbH to make extracts and powders.

"The business area Asia, the procurement of raw materials and the auditing of farms and partners on site are among the areas on which my new managing director activities focus," explains Benjamin Hawlik. What’s more, he brings with him well-founded knowledge from the design, manufacture and sale of medicinal mushroom products.

Organic and conventional – made in Germany

The Mycotrition GmbH product range comprises all important medicinal mushroom raw materials that are offered loose or as filled capsules in the form of bulk drugs. The powders and extracts for dietary supplements and for many other applications – from additives in healthy foods to cosmetic additives – are available in organic quality as well as from conventional cultivation.

The raw materials come from continuously verified quality, production takes place in Germany and Austria exclusively at a GMP level. Mycotrition GmbH sees itself as a professional specialist for the global market with a focus on Europe, Asia and the USA. The innovative products can be offered at an optimum price-performance ratio.
