Dr. Windy Cole, DPM Joins NATROX® Wound Care as Director of Global Medical Affairs

NATROX® Wound Care is excited to announce that Dr. Windy Cole, DPM will join as Director of Global Medical Affairs. She joins at a critical juncture as the company increases product availability worldwide and seeks to develop new solutions to improve chronic wound patient outcomes. Dr. Cole will be responsible for developing and overseeing medical strategy, strengthening strategic partnerships among key opinion leaders (KOLs), and advancing clinical evidence to support industry recognition of advanced wound therapies.

We first collaborated with Windy as a Principal Investigator (PI) in our clinical trials investigating the impact of topical oxygen therapy on chronic DFUs. Her profound passion for helping others aligns perfectly with our mission to transform patients’ lives.”

Dr. Cole has been a practising physician in wound care for over 22 years. She is an adjunct professor and Director of Wound Care Research at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine. Board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and the American Board of Wound Management, Dr. Cole has published numerous peer-reviewed and industry articles and is a sought-after speaker worldwide. She is also a feature writer for Podiatry Management, Today’s Wound Clinic, and a contributing writer for Podiatry Today.

Dr. Cole’s work dedicated to diabetic foot care, wound care, limb salvage, & clinical research will be invaluable to the team as they develop next-generation technologies aimed at supporting clinicians and empowering patients who suffer from chronic wounds.

Poised to join the NATROX® team at the end of March, Dr. Cole joins a growing clinical team including acclaimed wound care expert Dr. Thomas Serena and eminent biofilm expert Dr. Gregory Schultz.
