PLT Health Solutions has been selected by California Natural Color (CALCOLOR) to commercialise the latter’s cardiovascular health and antioxidant ingredients portfolio in North America.
The ingredients developer and marketer said that the long-term arrangement will include CALCOLOR’s MegaNatural product lines, with the possibility of additional items becoming available soon.
MegaNatural-BP, a US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) no-objection GRAS grape seed extract, is said to support healthy blood pressure metabolism and normal arterial function. It has a standardised polyphenol content of over 94%.
The MegaNatural portfolio includes antioxidant and cardiovascular support ingredients sourced from grapes.
CALCOLOR is said to have selected PLT Health Solutions as a marketing partner due to its commercialisation resources and deep relations with consumer products companies.

PLT Health Solutions said that all CALCOLOR’s ingredients are produced in California using seed blends that are totally made up of domestic red and white wine grape seeds that have not undergone fermentation.
