The Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) has announced it has received two awards on behalf of the IFT 2012 Annual Meeting and Food Expo, an annual event drawing more than 20,000 food science and technology professionals from the around the world.

The Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) has announced it has received two awards on behalf of the IFT 2012 Annual Meeting and Food Expo, an annual event drawing more than 20,000 food science and technology professionals from the around the world.

The two awards recognise the importance of the Annual Meeting & Food Expo as the only event of its kind that highlights the very latest food products and the hottest food trends.

– Trade Show News Network (TSNN) listed IFT’s 2012 Annual Meeting and Food Expo as a 2012 Top 250 Trade Show. TSNN is a well-known online U.S. news source for the trade show industry, and owns and operates the most widely consulted event database on the Internet, which contains data on more than 25,000 trade shows, exhibitions, public events and conferences.

– Expo magazine listed the 2012 Annual Meeting and Food Expo as one of the Top 25 Fast-Growth Shows. Expo magazine includes sales and marketing focused features on destinations, case studies and revenue-generating ideas, as well as coverage of new products and services for its audience of show organizers and managers.

The IFT 2013 Annual Meeting and Food Expo will be held in Chicago from July 13-16 at McCormick Place, features thousands of learning opportunities and the latest innovations based on the science of food. This year’s event features Dr. Fareed Zakaria, acclaimed author, CNN television personality and editor-at-large of Time magazine, who will address global food challenges and food science solutions.
