Atrium Innovations, a provider of nutritional health products, has acquired LivingMatrix, an advanced cloud-based, clinician-designed, personalised medicine platform, to expand into personalised nutrition.

LivingMatrix is a technology-based, data and algorithm-driven functional medicine platform, designed to help practitioners with evaluation and engagement of patients, creating personalised care plans and track patient health outcomes.

LivingMatrix founder and CEO Priya Kamani said: “The launch of the LivingMatrix™ platform has been a critical turning point for personalized and functional medicine and now, with the support of the Atrium Innovations and Nestlé Health Science family, we look forward to breaking even more barriers.

“This partnership brings opportunities to scale the business and accelerate our ability to drive and support additional research studies to expand the evidence base for effectively addressing chronic conditions.”

LivingMatrix will help Atrium to expand its personalised nutrition offerings

Atrium Innovations is engaged in development, manufacturing, and marketing of cosmetics, pharmaceutical, chemical, and nutritional products, and offers multi-vitamins, fish oils, and antioxidants, enzymes, proteins, and herbal extracts.

It offers brands including Pure Encapsulations, Douglas Laboratories, Genestra Brands, KLEAN Athlete, Pharmax, and Wobenzym.

Atrium Innovations said that its brands and business model are in line with its parent company Nestlé Health Science, offering nutritional solutions for consumers, patients, doctors, nurses and other partners in healthcare.

According to the company, LivingMatrix marks the latest acquisition for Nestlé Health Science and is part of its goal to expand its operations in the personalised nutrition sector.
